Accessibility Statement

This statement describes the accessibility features built into cambridgelearn.com and how to tell us if something isn't working for you.

What we've built in

• A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists throughout, rather than generic styled boxes.
• Visible keyboard focus outlines on every link, button and form field.
• Full support for prefers-reduced-motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, this site disables parallax, Ken Burns image movement and scroll animations automatically, all content remains fully visible without them.
• Alt text on meaningful images; decorative background images are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms with associated labels, and a native browser dialog for our brochure previews (which supports Escape-to-close and returns keyboard focus correctly).
• A filter interface on our Schools page built from real checkboxes and fieldsets rather than custom, unlabelled controls.

Known limitations

We haven't yet run a full audit against WCAG 2.2 AA with assistive technology users. Some third-party PDF brochures linked from school pages are supplied by the schools themselves and may not meet the same accessibility standard as this website.
